Overview
The Human Resources Division is responsible for developing and managing recruitment,
training and policy development and procedures pertaining to city staff. In addition, this division
is responsible for Police and Fire Civil Service in accordance with Local Government Code
Chapter 143, manages the city's compensation plan, administers the Workers' Compensation
program, maintains positive employee relations and monitors policies and procedures to ensure
compliance with federal and state regulations.
