New life from an old building -- the best of all worlds in the Marshall Visual Arts Center. A laundry building in its original life, the beautifully redone building houses a variety of activities. Artists rent spaces flooded with light from four sides thanks to the clerestory windows, and these artists not only have great workspace but also have the opportunity to interact with other artists, to show their work and to market it. The Artists' Circle is now open with paintings, sculpture and handmade items of all descriptions ‚ cards, jewelry, wall art and seasonal items. Open daily.

The Banquet/Creativity Hall is a large open room with great natural lighting serving many needs -- banquets, meetings, weddings, church groups, etc. Accommodates up to 350 people.

Art exhibits in the Gallery display works from regional artists. Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.

Children's Art and Drama Camp allows young ones ages 5 to 14 to have fun while learning painting and drawing, clay works, mixed media and drama. Tuition per week includes all supplies. Call for Tuition rate. Three 1-week sessions begin July 16, 2007. Partial scholarships based on financial need are available.

Community Art Classes in a variety of techniques are available each season. Call for details.
